Terms and Conditions

By making a booking with The Chesterfield, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

Payment and cancellation: Cancellation is free until 14 days before your arrival date, at which point full payment for the booking will be taken. If the booking is made within 14 days of the arrival date payment will be taken at the time of booking

Checkin/Out: The Chesterfield operates a self check in system giving you the greatest flexibility for your arrival. Rooms are available from 3pm on the day of your arrival.

Check out is by 10am on the day of your departure. Should the room not be vacated on time then guests may be liable to an additional nights charge

Smoking: A deignated smoking area is provided in the garden. The Chesterfield is strictly a non-smoking building, any guest found to be smoking inside will be asked to leave without refund and liable for a £100 charge

Take aways and fishing gear: Eating take away meals in the rooms is not permitted due to the strong smell. You are welcome to eat in the dining room.

Please do not store fishing/crabbing bait and gear in the rooms. We will happily store in a locked compartment on request.

Damage: You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to us or the property by your act, omission, default or neglect and you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. For clarification this includes breakages, damage (other than reasonable normal wear and tear) and includes damage to mattresses and any extra cleaning due to failure to comply with the Booking Terms and Conditions of Stay.

If there is substantial breakage, damage or theft you will be charged for any costs or loss of income incurred due to the closure of rooms arising from this.
